Hey girls!! I know how you all feel having family live so far away my sailor son is currently underway on the carl vinson which is stationed in SD i didn't get to see him before he left because my youngest who is a senior in HS lives with her dad and step witch (oops did it say that out loud ) in NH so I never get to see her since I am not allowed there and she won't come to me long story.  I am so hoping my daughter gets stationed here in VA so I can spend as much time with her as possible.

On a side note my thoughts and prayers go out to all those serving on the Vinson and the two pilots families who were involved in the incident especially to the piolot lost at sea

Jean, I am so sorry. Such a hard thing to do. Praying for your family. I am sure it is time, you don't want your fur baby to suffer. ((((HUGS))))

Good morning to Everyone.

Pray this week for our family. I think it is time to put down our dog. She has had cancer for a few years and now is starting to show pain. We have had her for 12years. I just hate putting animals down. Our other dog was put down because he stopped breathing, well actually was having breathing problems and need to have air. Pray that we make the right choice and timing is right.

Happy Sunday! Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.

Blondie, I fully understand. Love to travel myself, but so expensive. Seems we just save the money to be able go go see our Sailor! Which is good for me..LOL I am sure once she get stationed in Norfolk we will be taking many side trips whil there visiting her. It does seem that the way of the world is having your family move far away. I miss having a lot of family close. But for those in the military, they have no choice.
Has your daughter made any wedding plans yet? So exciting!

Game day went well, but no games were played, we just ate and talked, and talked and ate, and talked, laughed, laughed some more. Was good to see everyone. Has been awhile since our whole group has been together. Monday tomorrow :-( and going to be another HOT day here. Over 100 again, and a hurricane moving in on Tues. so will be hot and humid...YUCK. They are getting the fire that is burning near by under control, praying they get it out, and no others start.

Good morning everyone,

Blondie I would love your weather! Love rain and cooler temps. Wish I could come visit you! Sorry about all the traveling, but know you will love the DC trip. :-)

Jean, hope your weather gets cooler too. I remember the new parent syndrom..LOL but better to be safe than sorry. Have fun with your sweet grand baby!

Good Morning to Everyone.

Blondie safe travels.

Catsmom, sorry about the heat, were back in the 80's here this weekend. I do better when were in the 70's. Oh well. Baby is doing well. Christina is still not sure what caused the eye thing. I call it a nervous dad. LOL.

Blondie, Praying for your girl. Hope her stress level goes down soon!

Jean, happy Aurora is ok. The fist baby we always panic..LOL

Armpit up, Happy Dancing for you! Ditto what Blondie said!

So very hot here, 101 in the shade today on my patio, and we have a fire burning not far from where I live... Going to be hotter this weekend! So done with summer. Game night, which turned into game day here tomorrow. Had to rethink my food choices..LOL Not turning on the oven, and I bought a pie. Feeling guilty for not baking, but way to hot..LOL Work was a bit better today, but now she is doing my work too..LOL Blondie your cartoon fit perfect. And she is here to stay till she decides to leave..Oh Yea! Have a good weekend everyone!

Thanks everyone. There was nothing wrong with the Aurora eye. It was nervous parents. It was to much rubbing. LOL. Been there done it even got the tee shirt. They'll laugh about years from now.
