JayDee, Thank you, I'll tell him you send well wishes. I agree, this is a Crazy winter. Every week it seems we have 1 warm day, so it can melt and rain and flood then ice over again! He was walking between 2 cars at my daughters and of course everyone thought we'd sue. Really?! Accidents do happen people. People do seem to loss it more in the winter, mine is this damp, I hurt all over. I told doctors I judge how my day is gonna be by which body part hurts first or the worse. I much prefer the cold dry, even the snow is prettier and easier to sweep or shovel. Although it does blow more. The -30's was too much even for me! LOL Let's just get through this and into Summer, Spring is pretty and cooler but we tend to be wet :(
Oh Blondie, those falls on the ice can be awful. I fell last week coming down my stairs (when it was -16). I honestly just wish the weather would decide if it was in a winter mood or a spring mood. This back and forth has me crabby.
Hope your hubby is okay!
Jen, keeping you and your daughter in my prayers.
JayDee, how Exciting!!! Something to look forward to and plan for.
This past weekend warmed up so we went to see our daughter and SIL (the ones expecting) We spent Saturday working at their house, changed out dishwasher for a new one, got rid of a chair and couch, brought a tv stand home to fix for one of our sons. Husband measure a window and got it ordered so he can replace it next trip (3 weeks?). Sunday we went maternity clothes shopping and SIL wanted to do a baby register (they have 4 showers coming up) Daughter is dragging her feet, too tired, too busy and maybe a little scared, Just not Ready. So we compromised :) We walked through all the baby aisles and made a list of what they would need as far as their life style and room in their Condo (3 stories). This way they can research pros and cons....(like car seats etc.) and hopefully agree. LOL
Only down fall was my husband did fall on the ice. hit his head then yesterday tweeted his low back, had to pick his leg up with his two hands to move leg. Ugg always
