For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

lol!! I'll go check out one of my messages from the groups. Mine is set up differently than some of the others I think. I know mine and my instructor's are different. I open and see mine as emails but she has to click the link back to N4M and open hers from the inbox. Hmm. I'll be back in a few. I still have a response from one mom to Rene's last note unopened so I'll check it right quick.

Didn't think about that (the spooks)! You may have something there. The lastest bug is that I will get an email that someone left a comment in one of the groups I belong to, but when I go there I can't see their comment.
I think my son is trying to get back at me!!!!!!!

No Rene, I've not seen the movie either. I do love the music though. I'm a big Andrew Lloyd-Weber fan anyway, all the way back to Jesus Christ Superstar.
Have you seen the movie Momma Mia based on the Abba songs? Chris went with his girlfriend to see it and said it was good even though he didn't know any of the songs. I went the following night and fell in love with it. A friend of ours came down from Canada to visit soon after it came out on DVD and we watched it one evening. There were four of us just singing and dancing all over the den! teehee!!
Anna, I hope you get your picture viewer running again. It seems that everyone is having some sort of problem here nowadays. I looked and I can't see any new ones that Rene has added. Maybe tomorrow we will get to see Jared with a mouth full of mashed potatoes! Maybe the internet "spooks", are our "spooks" showing us that their equipment is superior to ours! Nah! lol

lol! Rene, do you think you can have one or two more things going on right now? Your son is home, your daughter is going to have a baby, what else can we find for you to deal with? Maybe this way Jared will be able to see the baby before he leaves? That would be cool. Good luck to your daughter and tell Jared that no, Oreos and milk are not an appropriate gift for the baby yet. He could play it a lullaby on the guitar however.
Valerie did not get on during luch today? I hope everything's ok there. It sounds like her Mom really is not doing very well. My prayers go up for her and her family. It seems that she is fighting some tough battles all around.
Vikki, we get some really awsome shows around here that I would love to go see but I just don't like to drive in Charlotte and especially by myself at night so...Riverdance is here for the last time and I would love to see it but. I heard Phantom is coming back soon, another one I'd like to see.

This economy sure isn't a good time to try to sell pencils, much less a home. But I feel hopeful - just today I received phone calls for setting up 3 showings!! I've been praying like crazy that this month will be the month we get an acceptable offer!!!!
