Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I have word that if you wish to remain active at N4M you will need to post something, anything here soon. The website has reached the maximum number of members, so to allow for new members, they will be deleting inactive members

I do not know when this will take place. Anna emailed me that she was in on a conference call with some of the ad supporters and they clued her in on it. If you wish to continue to be here without having to create a new account please log in and just say Hi, Happy Holidays, or whatever.

Comment by SouthernCalimom Ship 13 Div 333 on September 12, 2016 at 4:25pm: My son has been an IS for 3 yrs reserves which was the best move he made, took 2 semesters off at UCLA to go to bootcamp and A & B school. Has a civilian job now with the DIA in DC and will take a year leave from that and heading to Africa all next year for the Navy to replace someone over there but he is getting a lot of experience in both jobs. Just past his polygraph which the civilian job required. any questions you can email me lesley.clark@att.net as I am not on here but still do get the emails. Regarding background checks, they never talked to me or my ex. They went to neighbors, friends, professors etc and met with him at bootcamp too,but it wasn't until he finished his 1 school in Dam Neck is when he received his TS clearance. !st school you have a Clearance. You need a TS clearance to get into B school.
