My daughter is also from AZ and in boot camp right now.  Sorry, I do not have any information from HER yet.  Anxiously waiting

My daughter will be an AZ.  She is in boot camp right now.  We know several people that are AZs and they all love it

Anyone have a daughter that is an AZ? Curious to hear the female perspective, as my daughter will be headed to BC sometime between now and August...waiting for a new ship date. Thanks all!

Which fb page has our graduation pictures? I'm only seeing Marines on the NTTC site.

Is it possible to order NAS specific merchandise online or otherwise from the Meridian NEX? Their website only has general Navy Pride items. GL had lots of location specific items, but we are unable to go to Meridian for graduation and we would like to show our support of our sailor's time here and have some memorabilia. Even if it's just post cards for our scrap book. We have asked him to get things for us, but that is not happening.

My son flew from O'Hare in late June.

Yes he did. To quote him, he's stoked! So are we. Also, I just reread the OPSEC guidelines so we'll leave it at that.

Hello, I hope your son is doing well.  My son also got to choose his duty station, luckily he had 4 options, but he choose the Nimitz.  Luckily for him after he arrived the ship went to dry dock.  They would go out & now & then so he did see some sea time.  He did say he did get "seasick" at first.  He spent 3 years on ship, he got his transfer order to leave on the same day the ship took off tour.  He is now in Norfolk, he has been there for 3 weeks now, so far he likes the new duty station.
