Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

What an Aviation Maintenance Administrators (AZ) does: The duties performed by AZs include, but aren't limited to: scheduling aircraft inspections; keeping charts that show trends in aircraft system reliability; organizing and operating libraries of technical publications, reports and related maintenance data; issuing aircraft inspection and work orders; performing a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing; performing data base and system analysis; maintaining aircraft and engine logbooks, and associated records.

you two are too funny. im leaving out tomorrow morning at 5 am to spend some time with hubby and kids. so i will make sure to meet her and tell her she has some definate fans on this site.

thanks for the advice
mike is doig well he always volenteers, 1st in his class and hes class leader, so i think he had made himself known throughout the whole campus. im really hoping we get stationed in mississippi. they have a job at the hotel i really really want so i will find out next week they chose their orders.

well i just know he is on mod 7 now and only has 4 more to go and his estimated grad date is the 22 of november. i just hope he gets out of there sooner.

well im in miss every weekend i only live 3 1/2 hours away. i stay at the hotel and my hubby is phased high enough to have his truck on base. he is just ready to be settled with me and his 3 kids. want to have a good christmas together.

my hubby is supposed to finish A school on nov 22 how long will it take for him to leave around about i heard horror stories about weeks. just wondering about if he should be stationed before christmas?

that is good im ready for the real navy and my life again. htnak you all for all of the welcomes i am really looking forward to mike getting his orders. we have 3 kids so i want to get them settled asap. yeah im very lets get things done i will def. ask questions thank you so much
