Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

What an Aviation Maintenance Administrators (AZ) does: The duties performed by AZs include, but aren't limited to: scheduling aircraft inspections; keeping charts that show trends in aircraft system reliability; organizing and operating libraries of technical publications, reports and related maintenance data; issuing aircraft inspection and work orders; performing a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing; performing data base and system analysis; maintaining aircraft and engine logbooks, and associated records.

Good afternoon!!

Happy Holidays to all!!

I'm very happy, thanks to god, I just received a box from my sailor son, who is deployed, he sent me 4 "coins" 1 is from the Commanding officer, other is from Command Master Chief and the other one is from the Captain of the USS John C Stennis, he even got the opportunity  to sit in the Commanding Officer's chair, Oh my God, this is amazing!! I even got a letter a few days ago saying the great job my son is doing, the letter was from the  Squadron Commander. This is the best Christmas gift ever, knowing that my son is good at what he does, even with the language difference!!!! Thank you God!!!

Very sorry to answer late!

I don't think so, I haven't seen that... think that is more Navy private; I don't have photos of that moment either, I saw some pictures that my son took at Meridian with some sailor friends he met there...

Mother always, is there a Facebook page where our graduate's pics are posted??  Just curious... my son graduated from his AZ class at Meridian this past Friday.
