Hi sonLitSoul--sounds like you spent your holiday weekend watching movies! My hubby does not like to go to the theater--so I usually have to wait till they come out on our free demand station. Have heard Toy Story 3 was great.
What does CG stand for?

Who remembers this song, who sang it, and what movie was it in?
AC-CENT-TCHU-ATE THE POSITIVE (Mister In-Between)
(Johnny Mercer / Harold Arlen)

You've got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mister In-Between

You've got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
Have faith or pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene

(To illustrate his last remark
Jonah in the whale, Noah in the ark
What did they do
Just when everything looked so dark)

Man, they said we better
Accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mister In-Between
No, do not mess with Mister In-Between
Do you hear me, hmm?

(Oh, listen to me children and-a you will hear
About the elininatin' of the negative
And the accent on the positive)
And gather 'round me children if you're willin'
And sit tight while I start reviewin'
The attitude of doin' right

(You've gotta accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mister In-Between)

You've got to spread joy (up to the maximum)
Bring gloom (down) down to the minimum
Otherwise (otherwise) pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene

To illustrate (well illustrate) my last remark (you got the floor)
Jonah in the whale, Noah in the ark
What did they say (what did they say)
Say when everything looked so dark

Man, they said we better
Accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mister In-Between
No! Don't mess with Mister In-Between

That's TV screen, btw.

Well, the son had movies on his TC screen, as no internet or tv connections yet in the home where he is renting a room in King's Bay. So, we watched "Kick-A$$" Can't say I'll be watching for the reruns of it on free movie channel. However, the time together and laughing at some of the most improbable scenes was worth it. Very violent and some sexual scenes noted. Not Quentin Taranteno style either--cheap producers. Nicholas Cage was not up to par, either. Oh well...

Anyone seen Toy Story 3? Just curious.
And wow, Knight and Day got a terrible review, ouch http://movies.nytimes.com/2010/06/23/movies/23knight.html?hp

NAAFW, you were so right about Sex and the City 2, I thought it was awful.

He only says to "places we porbably shouldn't be." However, he is under the sea, so he will have no idea.

I went back to school last summer, and get a kick out of pulling out my student ID! Funny how the age limit for 'senior' rates varies from place to place.
Good for you Carol! My son has a great sense of humor, too. Can you say where he's deploying? Mine leaves on a ship soon, first time.
