Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I can't believe what parents will take a kid to, but that's a whole other topic.

I think you described it perfectly without getting specific...how awful, I would have been heading to the door with you! Breaks my heart that this is what kids have fed to them. Gross doesn't equal funny, it's just cheap and easy for the producers. And throwing in gratuitous violence just compounds the wrong. Geez........

Karen, people still do it! We even saw a fireworks display juat past the screen, two shows for the price of one ;)
JLS, I can't have enough butter & salt on my pc. Look forward to your movie review!

Oh Marcy-- I love the suggestion of a picnic at a drive-in. As a kid, with 3 brothers, we only survived going once! Now that I look back, Mom probably was going through menopause and lost her brain!! lol

So now I'm watching Twister (another good ol' standby) on TBS and waiting for the finale of Project Runway. Wish PR would come on an hour earlier!

How neat. That's real entertainment, isn't it.

One night I was driving home and noticed the drive in had what looked like a fun movie, so I drove another mile, picked up a chicken BLT salad (my favorite) and a soda at Wendy's, went back and happily watched all by myself. Fun!

It is more that the ticket price, and that is high enough!!!

That's one of my pet peeves, the high price of popcorn.

At least you don't have to pay the food prices in a regular theater.
