Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

He is on his third marriage but I don't think she is that young.

Comment by Karen (KC's mom) on April 26, 2009 at 12:02am: I didn't realize Kevin Costner has six children! Three older ones in their twenties, the next one about twelve years and the youngest ones are two and two months. The two oldest are girls and the other ones are boys.

I didn't recognize Greg Kinnear at first when I had watched Ghost Town a few weeks back. Last time I had seen him in a movie it was As Good as it Gets-? with Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt.

Comment by Karen (KC's mom) on March 24, 2009 at 11:02pm: Anita, never realized that about Tom Selleck. But I've also heard things about Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, and Michael Douglas as well.

One of Costner's movies I didn't really care for is the one also co-starred Demi Moore and William Hurt. I think it was called Mr.-? something or the other. He was like a serial killer in that one.
