Ladies, our school district closes for nothing. (Actually, we did close 2 years ago because of a wind storm, tornado 2 miles from our house with major damage). The Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul rarely call off. The rural areas do call off. My consolation is that then we are finished with school by Memorial Day.

I forget now. She was on David Letterman last night, too. It also has Harry Connic,Jr in it. I can't think. Sorry. It comes out today.

Thanks. We have a wedding reception tonight, so no chance of any movies for me. I want to go see the new Renee Zellwigger (sp). It is set in New Ulm, MN, 2 hours from me and I went to school there. It was filmed in Canada, though.

Remember the Titans is a favorite of my Navy son and my husband. We've watched it so many times we can recite some of the lines before they happen. When I here some of the songs on the radio,it's the movie I think of.
Another good one is Glory, set during the Civil War. My husband is a American history teacher.

Sis toook me out to movies last night. We saw Doubt with Merryl Streep and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. It is definitely a "thinking" person's movie, with different people walking out with different opinions as to whether the lead character playing the priest was guilty of child abuse or not. Very powerful film. It is one I will see again when it comes out on free movie channel in a year or so.
