Thank you.  Now a different question, what are the barracks like at Jacksonville?  Are they apartment type with shared kitchens, seperate bedrooms or is it more a dorm room with everyone together and only a microwave and mini frig?

It will be leave that is counted against the leave she has earned so far.

Comment by ZZsMom on November 28, 2011 at 3:10pm

So would it be leave that she has or would it be leave that doesnt count against her?

Comment by navymom3 on November 28, 2011 at 2:50pm

ZZ-The time in between is her leave time to go home and visit.

Hope Everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Just got a call from Dune and he is pretty thankful, as am I too, for being invited to share in the Thanksgiving of a fellow crewmans Family.  Said he even got to carve the turkey.  Thank you so much to this family for giving my Son a bit of home for the Holiday.  :)

erin if u call housing they have a huge list, you can ask for one with apts or houses. Fleming Island is nice but in my opinion to much of a drive. We rent a house close to blanding off argyle.

Welcome erinlynn- The Fleming island area is a nice place to live. There are lots of places to shop and not far from the base. Check out militarybyowner.com for rentals or try hovergirl reality. We found our house on militraybyowner as it is houses being dols or rented by military families. We live in Middleburg just on the edge of Orange Park and Fleming Island.
