OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome aboard Margy!
Yes..my son was in the hanger along with 1,000 other sailors...the local news station carried it live, ONLINE, so I tried to catch a glimpse of him whenever the camera 'panned' the audience...no luck but we texted back and forth during it..what a mass of sailors and marines, I tell ya!..
