My son will be arriving in Maryland in December, him and his fiancé are currently looking for housing, any help for newcomers is welcomed, thank you!

My son is stationed at Pax River, he has been there nearly a year. He has been a sailor for 9 years. He and his new wife live near the base. They found housing fairly easy to find in the area. Love to hear from other Navy Mom's or family!

Our son will be stationed at Pax River in May after attending school, so I thought I'd join the group early to get to know about y'all and find out about the area.  He still has to find a place to live.  He's been in the Navy 13 years, so relocating is nothing new to him.  I'm curious about the best places for family to stay when we go to visit him.  Looking forward to getting to know this group.

My son is at Pax River - he has been there not quite a year.  Would love to connect with others who have sailors there!

My daughter is reporting for duty on Oct 3rd. Her flight gets in at 9pm. Does anyone know the best and most economical way for her to get to the base from the airport? She's kind of freaking out because she has to report by midnight.

My son will be arriving here in late November he is currently in Oklahoma still attending school. Does anyone have any tips on hotels in area or sites to see. We will be going to visit as soon as we can get to him. We currently live in Florida so we are very excited to get him alittle closer to home.

ProudDad, my son has been at PAX about 4 months and he likes it there, better than Cl at least, LOL. We live in Wilmington, DE so he's been home a few times but I've not been able to visit the base yet, hope to soon!

My son is graduating from C school in Pensacola and will report to PAX Rixer on 4/18/13. This is his first "real job" in the Navy and he's excited to fianlly be out of school and assigned to a new command. We live just outside of Baltimore, MD so we'll be able to drive our son to the base. My wife and I look forward to visiting him in Southern Maryland while he's stationed there for the next two years. He's an ET and I'm hoping they'll keep him busy.....
