Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

There is a group titled NAS CORPUS CHRISTI MOMS. It has less than 10 members and has not had activity in awhile. Would any other Moms like to join and share some discusson?

Huskermom...let's see. He left on his first one in Feb of 2016. Second one in Oct of 2018. Came home and immediately went to Fallon for Topgun for 3 months. Then left this time in Jan of 2022. So,3 deployments in 6 1/2 years. He will get a new assignment this fall; just praying it's not a squadron that deploys soon. It would be really hard on our DIL and their kids.

Aahhhh. Such a feeling of relief. The Lincoln pulled into Pearl Harbor this week and my DIL and kids flew to spend a week with our DS. It's been a long and hard deployment. After the week together the Lincoln does RIMPAC and then he comes home. So, it's downhill from here on his 3rd deployment. Now to hear his next assignment. Crossing our fingers it's not another immediate deployment.

He is feeling very much relieved at getting thru all the training. And now my worries take a different turn, lol. The only thinking that has kept me sane thru his private and instrument training and then the Naval training is that I have to trust in the instructors that taught him, and his talents that have gotten him this far. He is flying the Super Hornet with the Black Lions.
