Hey I wanted to drop by and let everyone know that I got a message from Mary's daughter and she wanted me to let her friends know on N4M that Mary's dad passed away last night so if you could remember Mary at this time it would be great. Thank you.

Connie, I'm trying to remember all the things they said about the planes. (military channel)
Speed, firepower, something else, something else,
and situational awareness. The cockpit was perfect for them.

I would like to know what you all want to see here in this group. I am amazed by ya'lls contributions, but I keep posting museum stuff and don't know if you are interested in that. I really love to see the pictures posted on family/friends in the Navy or military from the past. Keep posting!

Mary, its funny you should mention Blue Jacket. I am reading that book as we speak.... Now I can stop bothering you all for answers!!!! My sailor came in my room - handed it to me - and said, "I thought you might find this interesting since you're always asking questions." Do you think he was getting tired?

Note to self: Pay attention to the lay of the hats in pictures at museums. Wish I'd thought of that before the USS Midway today. Didn't pay any attention to that at all. Only the airplanes. And one plane had my sons weapon system on it, so thats all he looked at. He said he's tired of this stuff, he learns it at school and he whined at how long I took - taking pictures and such, but mostly because I could hardly walk up and down the million steps it took to see everything on a carrier. I'm old, would somebody tell him that?
