Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Cookbook status

Please note:  In 2012, Linda, this group's creator, did a heroic effort and created a cookbook of our recipes that was sold to members as a fund raiser for Molly's Adopt a Sailor Project.  That cookbook is no longer available.   If anyone would like to volunteer to start another cookbook-publishing project, that would be great!

Linda, I'm sorry that I did a boo-boo. On my recipe, Autumn Soup, ingredient #8, should be tomatoes.

Sorry Carol, I don't think I can help. Unless this will help: When you go to the website, look to the left and select "verify recipe" then look under your category and scroll all the way to the bottom of that category. Look for unverified recipes and select. Find your recipe and read it for accuracy, then clidk on verify recipe again, find your recipe title again and check the little white box next to it, then scroll to the bottom of page and click verify. Hope this helps. The recipe looks wonderful.

i can find both recipes but it won't let me delete the one without any ingredients and won't let me verify the other one.  HELP

Ooops. Carol, it seems you have submitted this recipe twice. One of them has the list of ingredients, the other one doesn't. When you go back in to verify, be sure you are selecting the one with the ingredients listed.

Hi Carol! Your recipe for North Carolina Pulled Pork did take, but I think you need to go back in and verify the recipe.
