For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

that is awesome dtarmy, a very talented daughter you have as well. My son is also a very good artist. I am hoping when he goes to bootcamp this summer he will get to be one of the recruits who design their DIV flag. That would be so cool :-) I will look for something he has done and post something soon.

Thanks so much for sharing you and your daughters art work Jackie. I have to share my one of my step-daughters drawings as well :-) I love seeing art from such talented young artists. My step-daughter Devon is in AP Art 4 this year (Senior) She chose to do her concentration in Micrography, which is basically creating an image entirely out of text. She has done several pictures and has won an award for one of them but this one is my favorite so far.
