Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Any of you Florida Moms/Wives/Grandma's/Aunts/Family want to come to our Meet and Greet and/or come to a Scrapbook Make and Take Class where you will learn how to make a Scrapbook-in-a-box with a Navy Theme? We will have a Meet and greet Party, We may meet for dinner one night. We have LOTS and LOTS of fun and our group keeps growing :) Here is the link to our facebook group. Glad to see so many moms on this site I haven't been on in awhile my son went for more training in Oklahoma then to Maryland what a journey it has been and will be for awhile I'm sure hope everyone is doing well

bluesarasota, if you are on Facebook, I made a group called Southwest Florida Navy Moms. Please ask to join if you would like. I am thinking about having a meet and greet with the other moms. Waiting to get some more to join and also find a place to accommodate everyone.

I also live in the Sarasota Bradenton area. It would be great to get together in our neck of the woods. So far, I have seen two people with recent posts. Is anyone ready to get together? I don't mind organizing it. Friend me and we can get it going!
