wow teeny, I would be crying already. I am worried about my son, he wont tell me what his orders are, and I know that he must have them by now! He graduates A school on Tuesday.

It's hard when they leave for somewhere far off and you know there isn't a possibility of seeing them for a long time...can you imagine what it was like back in the day before skype and computers!?!?!?! Waiting weeks for a letter...I don't know how they did it. My mil raised 4 kids by herself while fil was out on deployments. That doesn't make it any easier on us, though...just know that you arent' alone, Teeny--we all feel that pain!

my sons Easter leave didnt happen. :( he was only going to get 3 days and it just didnt pay to fly from SA for really only one days visit. He will be in San Antonio C school learning Pharmacy Tech, not his first choice. I am glad to know there are other Navy Moms nearby! Shoutout to all! :)

janieflorida, sorry to hear the lunch didn't happen. Maybe the next one can be planned for a Saturday.

Lunch never happened maybe after the holidays. Paula Stephen went to Vero High but was raised in the Keys. He will be on leave Easter week. It's been almost a year since I've seen him
