For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi Navymom oh he can husband works out at the gym everyday and also runs everyday. He has been doing lots of training.
welcome Annette and all the other new mom's and wives. There sure has been a lot of sailors coming from Florida these last couple weeks. I wish all your sailor have a wonderful time at BC. If anyone has any questions ask away and I am sure someone will be able to answer them. I have 2 sailors one at NAS Jax and 1 on Japan.
Hello all... Manatee County here. My son left last Tuesday 3/13. Received my letter Monday and "the box" today. Now waiting on the letters to find out how it's going. This site has been my sanity. He is an only child so... hanging in there though.
HI mdamon70! so good to hear from you. this site has helped me and my younger son so much! we enjoy watching the videos of what the RTC experience is like and we are anxiously awaiting the PIR letter. Welcome Kaitlin, Have your husband make sure he can do the run before he leaves. It seems that the run is sometimes the hardest thing at BC. Enjoy this time with him before he leaves. If you have any questions ask away.
