My son is stationed in Mayport, FL on the USS Dewert
Hi from Coral Springs! My son left for BC on Dec. 8th, and will PIR Feb. 10th. We get to pull out all our under-utilized winter clothes to see him graduate! Missing him BADLY, especially with the holidays upon us.
Merry Christmas! Well it almost got cold this morning. Personally, I like my Santa to wear shorts.
Moring ladies, CRystal River here haven't been on in a long time. Merry Christmas. My son has been a sailor for 17 years now and is currently stationed in Pax River Md. Thats him and his wife as my profile pic. I am more then happy to answer any questions that I can.
Welcome Amyd- I am in the Jacksonville area and have 2 sailors. My oldest has been in for over 5 years and my middle son just finished all of his schooling and his home on leave before heading to Japan. If you have any questions just ask away. This group is kind of quite but usually come and answer any questions asked.
Where is your sailor going to be going to school at and for what? I have an AT and a CTM.
I'm in Palm Harbor. My son left for BC Dec 1st. Anyone in the same boat....in this area...pun intended!
My husband a vietnam vet and now a pilot had to do a chemo treatment a few years back. To help w/ the side affects the dr gave him an anti anxiety med. You should have seen the hoops we had to jump through to make his licensing current again after his treatment. Even though his doctor thoroughly cleared him as perfect to go back to work. His company even paid specialist to hand walk the MOUNDS of paper work through the system. There is no short cut. Jump through each hoop as it comes. You'll get there eventually. I understand your frustration.
