A Friend found this saying and printed it on Flag paper for me, I thought I would share it with all the other Navy Moms.
IN RECOGNITION OF HEROIC DUTY ON THE HOME FRONT
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Remembering that he is still your baby, no matter how big he is
Wishing kisses could still make booboos go away
Knowing that a piece of you is over there, somewhere
All your child’s entries in your address book written in pencil
Beaming with pride every time you see your child in uniform
Knowing that the land of the free is because of the brave
All the letters and care packages filled with the love only Mommy can give
The courage, strength and commitment it takes to be a military mom
FOR THIS AND SO MUCH MORE, WE HONOR YOU.
@cocojazz.... I'm from the treasure coast. I'm new here. My daughter is in bootcamp now.

Thanks for the reminder. Keep posting, maybe this time we can make it happen. I heard they are a lot of fun.
How do I get my sailor on the list? He got hard copy orders to go to Hawaii this fall. It seems so far from Fl.
I ride my motorcycle through Babson Park sometimes. It's a nice area to ride on the scenic hwy.
Let us know when your recruits are going through battle stations, and we'll light a blue candle for you. What ever you do, don't miss PIR in Great Lakes. It will be one of your life's best memories.
