Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Navymom3 - thanks for the info, we are going to be stationed in kings bay, ga but fl is only 10-15 minutes from base and i'm looking for jobs with a degree in finance so we want to be close to jacksonville so it's an even commute for both of us.

we found our house on militarybyowner.com. It has rentals and homes for sale by military personel. There is a page for georgia bases. It is easier to deal with another military person as they know where you are coming from. There is also a real estate place run by Navy wives i will find it and send it to you. lots of there houses were up by mayport area.

tashann- which base is your husband going to be stationed at? My son is at NAS Jacksonville and we live in Middleburg. It's a short drive for him.

Hi everyone, my husband, and our 11 month old baby will be moving to Florida soon...we are looking at places in the Amelia City, Yulee, Ferdiandia Beach, and Jacksonville areas any suggestions??  Thanks so much, we are moving from CT so we don't know anything about good neighborhoods/apt or duplex's ?

Just got back from a road trip to Paxs River Md to see my sailor and his family. Had the babies Christening while there along with her first birthday. It was worth the 13 hour drive. Hope all is well with everyones sailors.
