I was planning on her being here for new years and now have been informed shes going out - she invited friends over i bought food etc... I assumed I would spend the new years with her.  Plans change I guess- I know I wont do that again!

Couldn't be happier for you Karen.  What a great way to start the New Year.

Know your pain Linda, my sailor flies back to San Diego at 7am tomorrow morning. I dread driving after such a little nap.

Ok, true confession.  I loved having him here, but I thought it would be more fun since all his video equipment was out in CA.  Everyone had lap tops and turned my living room into gaming central.  Instead of interacting, I felt like I was interrupting.

I had one bonding moment when we looked at his boot camp album together and he explained all that to me (in a proud Navy way).  I guess I'll have to hold on to that.    Happy New Year Everyone!

Happy New Years moms. Stay safe and try to stay warm. I thought we all lived in Florida but I am beginning to wonder. My sailor and family are getting here tonight and I can't wait.
