I think my son is actually enjoying the snow-- he went sledding last weekend!  Since he will be there til end of March, I guess it's good that he is having a good time.  They do supply them with  good, warm clothes...not like when one of us FL people goes somewhere cold for a few days and we try to make do with layering our clothes and wearing tennis shoes--LOL!

Thanks d o.   She has had such a hard time with GL...too cold.  She shoveled snow for the first time, and a few days ago, she slipped on the ice and hit her head.  She is okay, but it has been a learning experience.  I am sure she is looking forward to leaving it behind.

Happy Holidays! Florida Moms!!  Hugs to all of you!!

Hi MandE, My sailor is in San Diego and loves it.  I'm sure yours will too after the winter she is experiencing in GL. He's coming home for Christmas in a few weeks.  I'm starting to get excited.

Merry  Christmas to all of you.  I hope you all have fair winds this holiday season with your sailors, and if they are abroad I hope you still manage to find a way to give them strength and joy.  God Bless Us Everyone!

Hi Guys,

It has been a while since I have been in touch.  I wanted to drop by and wish all of you Florida Moms Happy Holidays! :)  I feel so blessed to have had your support when needed, and will continue to need it at times I am sure.

My Sailor is still in GL...going to ATT.  She is coming home on 12/18 for Christmas, and will be in San Diego sometime in January for A School.  Still quite the road for her, but she is enjoying it.

Hugs to all of you!

Go to the molly's adopt a sailor group and they will help you. I set up a box at our lodge and asked for donations. There is a list in the group of needs, it varies from month to month
