Funerals, birthdays, and packing parties what a mix! I will pray that the birthday is fun, the family is comforted and the packing successful. Everyone have a great weekend. We might try to get to the Orlando packing party @ 2 if we can get all our ducks in a row.

Have a great weekend everyone-Marybeth--I hope you all have a blast at your packing party-wish I could be there! I will shoot for next time, though. Gotta be with my youngest when he turns 18 on Saturday!

Unfortunately have a funeral to go to - my daughters friends(also a sailor) mother lost her battle with cancer, please say a prayer for her family. I need to support this family at this time. But I do want to get involved in the future

How would I get that started in the Volusia county area? Do you ask for donations from stores etc? I would love to send stuff to our troops

Oh, I'll bet you all had fun! God bless you, I know it will be a blessing to our sailors. I hope I can do the one this weekend. Thanks for sharing...I'll bet that got you in the Christmas spirit.

What's in all those wonderful boxes?!

I love the idea of the blue candle at the dinner table. Glad I won't have to use it for Christmas this year, but will keep it in mind for holidays to follow. My sailor is having a ball in San Diego. He keeps his fridge stocked w/ soft drinks and lets everyone use his internet so his room is the party room since he doesn't have a roommate. I don't think he even missed being away at Thanksgiving. Somehow that makes it easier knowing he's not miserable. He says I always taught him to make his own fun where ever he is.

Hey apparently sometimes they did listen!

PIR in GL! I guess none of us will ever forget that!;)
