OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Where's Mayport?
Comment by susan on September 5, 2010 at 2:47am
He likes it,but is homesick. Brandon wanted Mayport. Because he repares engines he was sent to japan. There are many rules about leaving the ship.It also depends on what your son does on the ship to were he goes.

Even at see skype works. When at sea my son call once weekly. My son is in port . He is stationed at japan. It Depends on the bosses when they open the com. room. Were is your son stationed. Were is your daughter going.
