Cori...you are angel sent! :) I got my very first letter today! :) And it was wonderful...I cried! (of course)

Guys, thanks for all your support. It really has pulled me through this. She sounded really upbeat. She said that she is sore and has blisters, but is doing well. She sounds determined. She wrote for 4 pages!! :) And I have read it now three times already! :)

You guys are so wonderful...I appreciate the support.. The funny thing...I think I am handling things great! And then a day comes when I am down. This is such a roller coaster. :)

Today I am doing okay. A distraction of dealing with in-laws (we are not the greatest of friends and it usually is stressful) has stolen some of my attention.

Thanks for being there, ladies. :) I will be in touch and I appreciate the support. I do lean on N4M's a lot...experienced ladies are pulling me through :)

Mel's mom hang in there. You will get a letter soon. It took about 3 weeks to get a letter from Steve. She is fine. Keep the faith.

It will ease up when they go to school. Once there in school they can use skype. It is on the computer. Calls also come any time they have a free moment. Rules ease up in school. Besides talking to your sailor you can also see them. My son is based in Japan. Skype is wonderful. It is also easy to load.

M and E's Mom...yeah, i hear you on the creative bootcamp letters. I sent her one from the dog, the other dog, even one from her jeep!! gotta keep it interesting. Dont worry, the letters come in around week 3. I have her there and my son out at sea. believe me, i worry less about her! Keep on being positive. Every day that passes is one day closer to the infamous and unforgettable Sailor Hug! :)

Hi Laura...Thanks :) I am hanging in there. We are all anxiously awaiting news from GL. Calls and letters from her have not come in yet, but I am hoping to hear soon. I have been writing a lot...and trying to be inventive.

Susan...I have my ups and downs. But as long as she is doing okay, thats all that matters. I have found that this is the MOST frustrating thing I have ever been through as a parent. Even the teenage years...you still knew they were okay and sleeping under your roof. I have felt anxiety for the first time in my life.

Monday was a hard day for me, and we are only two weeks in now. She is
working on her third week now. Very hard. But today, I am in a more positive frame of mind. :) Like I said...ups and downs.

Thanks to both of you for checking on me...I am doing okay. :) Just missing my girl. :)

Calls are a privilege.Letters are written on sundays. Melsmom she will adjust quicker them you will. You should get about 3-4 calls during boot camp. The last call is the best. It is the call about graduation. LOTS of luck,Susan.
