Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Cecelia, how was your day? Did the baby do ok on the 2nd day of flight? Hope you are holding up ok in the quiet. Have a peaceful night.

Cecelia, I'm praying for you. I can't imagine how quiet it will be for you tomorrow. My two precious grandchildren live 20 hours away, but I can see them about 2 times a year. Phone calls are wonderful!!
Take each day one at a time. Remember the fun, not the loneliness.
Check in here, and write your frustrations and pain down. We will listen. God bless you with a peaceful night.

Florence, how have you been today? Did the chicken soup and balloons help? ( I know that the prayers are helping.)

This came to me today, and so fits how often we are paralyzed and numb.

GOD OF MERCY, we are in such need of your tenderness. Often unable to live fully and afraid to die, we are paralyzed by pain, incapable of holding the world’s despair and our sense of impotency. We cannot bear a world without hope. We come to this crossroad, lay open our burdens and fears, and wait in silence and stillness for you. Amen.

I want to thank you Florence, for having the strength to start this. I want to be able to support those of you in your loss. I pray that this site is a help and comfort for those who mourn, and an encouragement to get through the pain and sorrow each day. God bless you all. Let's all work together.

Florence
I have not lost a child/spouse/relative in the military. However, I feel the need to be with any one on this journey and to offer prayers.
