OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Prayers to the family of SRA Brad Smith of Troy, IL. It's been a sad week in our community.

Ruth, thanks you are doing better. Don't think prayer is a small thing. It is always a powerful thing to do.
Sleep well, friends.

Now Florence-don't you get out in this cold weather. You stay in that home of yours and stay warm-make sure you get plenty to eat and drink.

Thanks, Angie. The first one went well. Hopefully this one will, too. She is feeling well and the doctor was very positive.
Have a good night.

Is it Florence's birthday? Happy Birthday, and God's blessings for another year.

Happy New Year to all!! We woke up to sun shining, which hasn't happened in way over a week. Even though it is cold (a hi of 4 degrees), I am happy to start the new year off with sun!
I have a favor, my daughter is expecting her third child in the summer. She is doing well, but she had some problems with number 2. Just say a little prayer, if you would, that this pregnancy and delivery go well. We are excited and all should be good. Thanks. Enjoy the day. I am glad to call you all friends.
