Hi Everyone, I haven't commented in a while because I really didn't have anything to share but I follow the discussions daily which is very informative. But today I have something to share.

Today my daughter received her score from the ASVAB exam she took last week. She scored a 73! She also needed a combined score of 109 to be eligible for MC (Mass Communications) and she scored 110! The recruiter is hoping to get her to MEPS sometime this week. We are going to see him later today to discuss that and what other jobs she's eligible for. We are NAVY bound!! HOOYAH!

when we finally got hand written letters in the mail during BC  our sailor seemed to grow up and had a more respect for authority   you know how teenagers are sometimes  they think they know everything and parents know nothing.  we saw a change ever since. our sailor never got in trouble in school but had an attitude at times

Gosh...BC seems so long ago. It was hard, but interesting....big learning curve and life experience. The joy of PIR was well worth all those weeks.....for all of us.  Now, my son will start SERE tomorrow and for me, this is much harder. But, I am confident that the US Navy will provide the best training to prepare my son for any situation that might come his way. Hooyah Aircrew!
