OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son has made the decision to join the Navy, and we are very excited for him. He is taking the ASVAB in about one month. Any suggestions? He gets really nervous taking tests and we know this is very important. We've bought the study guide, but any other helpful hints? We need all the help we can get! Thanks so much, Amy

Good afternoon - I am on FB - email is tkrc0817@gmail.com. My son is currently stationed in NY at Balston Spa, going through Nuke school. He has a tentative grad date of Sept 4.

If you decide to add me as a friend PLEASE indicate that you are a N4M because otherwise I won't know who you are and will ignore you. No offense, but just safe.
