Hi all.....Just found this group as I was cruising through looking at all the groups. I have sewn for years and have been quilting for about 7 years. With the holidays I feel like I was on the production line finishing the last quilt for a xmas gift for my dear friend.

Gosh now that the holidays are here, I am wondering what will be my next quilting project? Guess I will just have to figure out who is having the next baby!

Looking forward to hearing from you all to hear about projects.

sounds like me i was making pjs for the whole family and felt tired so i put a dresdens plate quilt on to quilt then i thought hummmmmmm hemstitching bibs and burpcloths so i started a new business funny where things take you. i been sew and quilting since i was 5 yr old now am 39 so just a few years. giggles. have a wonderful day and hello!

Netta, I don't know  if you remember me, but I was in the  quilting  group a  few years ago. . I was off N4M's for awhile because  my kids started having babies, and then I went to go on one day, only to  find out that my profile had been deleted. I recently joined back on. How is your business doing, are you still at it.? I do quite a bit of sewing...mostly  placemats, aprons. Haven't done a craft fair in a few years. the local mall has a store where you can put your crafts, and you only have to volunteer 4 days a month. I  am trying to get stuff done for that. My sewing room looks like a disaster.. (hubby's opinion).. . and according to him, my  stuff is spread out between my sewing room, his Computer room( yeah , right.. his sewing/embroidery machine is in there and I sew in there, thinking I'd  keep him company).  and our bedroom. Right now we are sleeping on the futon in the living room and his computer inhabits the rest of the room. so  who is  spread out here? I have 4 or 5 machines. .. 2 Necchi, a Janome which I also quilt on, a Brother/White embroidery machine, and my Baby Lock serger. He has a Husqvarna embroidery machine that also sews and quilts too. but right now its just set up for embroidery. He keeps saying we have these projects for Halloween we need to get done, but where is  he? either working, sleeping or on his computer. I also have a GO  cutter. well gotta go do something productive...like tackle my room. talk soon.. Nita
