OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

heather i am 43 years old have a daughter 23yrs old out on her own, and my son 20 yrs old in the navy so it is just my husband and i at home. in 2003 i elected to have my tonsils, adenoids, and uvula removed because i had sleep apnea so bad my husband would wake me up at nite just to make me breath. i was a nurse at the time for a very busy doctors office a very stressful job. i only took 2 weeks off work after my surgery, in Sept labor day weekend we were camping and i was so sick i could not get out of the bed, not like me i was always a go getter nothing slowed me down, i worked full time on the weekend, went to school full time and took care of a family. so i had pulled a tick off of me sometime that summer so i thought i had Lyme's disease, but i knew with Lyme's disease i should have ran a fever, so i started doing so research myself and kind knew that i either had Lyme's, lupus, or fibro. where i worked was my family doc. so the next work day i went to work but was to sick to stay so i saw the doctor and had to have HIV, aides every test there is because i was a nurse, may sure i was stuck with a needle or something like that all my test were normal so my family doc told me it was prob. fibro which i had already figure that out myself, but to confirm the dx i went to a rhumy to be sure and he said it was fibro. i did test positive for mono never knew when i had it. i worked for 3 years on pain pills, muscle relaxers, i would get up 3 hours before i had to be at work so i could get myself in shape to go, when i came home i would take a very hot bath, take all the pain meds, and what ever i could to easy the pain, it got to the point i could not go so my husband told me to do what i had to do we would manage some how or another so i quite work and fought 3 years to get my disability.

YES I HAD A SLEEP STUDY DONE I HAD SLEEP APENA VERY BAD, MOST PEOPLE WITH FIBRO HAVE A SLEEP PROBLEM THAT IS ONE OF THE REASON WE HURT AND CAN NOT FUNCTION, BECAUSE WE DONT GO INTO THE RIGHT STAGES OF SLEEP. SOMETIMES WHERE YOU LIVE HAVE RESEARCH STUDIES GOING ON, IN OTHER WORDS THEY ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO BE GINNY PIGS AND THEY FURNISH ALL YOUR MEDS. I HATE TO TELL YOU THIS BUT ONCE FIBRO GOES ON YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS IT IS VERY HARD TO GET MEDICAL INSURANCE

sandy this my second one and i am only 43 the procedure itself is no proble because they put you to sleep, it is the drink that is bad it is a gallon and you have to drink it all, and then you know what comes next
