my son in law is being stationed in Portsmouth and they will be relocating in august.  Any information on apartment housing in the area would be appreciated.  They are expecting a baby in September, so he is trying to find housing for them asap.

My boyfriend was just sitting here and said that he had school-of-the-ship with your husband which means he's on the same ship. I live over by the Old Dominion University in Norfolk. I also work during the day for a military family and usually have my evenings and weekends off. How are you liking this area? Do you have any suggestions for places to see around here? We checked out Kings Dominion over Memorial Day Weekend, that was pretty fun.

What ship is he on? My husband's ship is also pretty much gone all summer ): we just moved here, and I have a sister that is a legislative aid in DC and I plan on making weekend trips to see her (I work all week. Weekends are the only time I get to have fun, lol). What part of the area are you living in?

Hi all, my boyfriend is stationed in Norfolk and I packed my bags and moved here from MN for the summer. He'll will be in and out on cruises all summer. I'm a pretty active person and would love to hike some state parks in the area and of course soak up some rays. Let me know if you've interested!
