Yeah!! I'm so happy for you Imnadelady! :)
I think we should meet for lunch in Hawaii! lol What great news for everyone heading that way for a trip to see their Sailors! SWEET!
Welcome to everyone new! :)
wow!!! great news lmnadelady!!!!
Well my sailor is stateside. Japan duty is over and on to school in VA for a months after his leave. Then he is on to Point Mugu. Going from the USS GW group of 800 some members to Point Mugu 12 members is going to be a bit lonely. LOL
Can not wait for my son to see his room make over that I did. He will be here Friday and I can hardly wait.
No, unfortunately, the race won't be rescheduled. If we have no snow, we can do a dry land demonstration with carts, etc But if we have some we can't. We don't really know. My husband is going with him to the recruiter's office on Tuesday to check on jobs to help him choose. They were talking to him about intelligence jobs based on his scores. He's only been to the recruiter once (this past week). He's 17, so he'll go in at 17. He was going to take the ASVAB on regents day, but they told the recruiter they wanted him to go this week as they will be closing out jobs the following week.
oh funny...do they reschedule those races?? nice for him on the ASVAB...what is he hoping for??
Ironically, the dog sledder only has 1 in of snow & we're supposed to have a race tomorrow. Sigh On the plus side, my younger son took his practice ASVAB the other day & did very well. He heads to MEPS next Friday for the real thing!
hi NY mommas!!
and here we go again chilly snowy windy...perfect for the dog sledder....not for me wanting to go shopping at Destiny or Waterloo....
thinking we need another momma lunch soon...want to hear about Hawaii and how PIR was for Magooster....thinking mid-February??
Hi Gals! Thanks for replying! I am from The Bronx - the Northeast side. Sunshinefam wow your son is so close! Do you see him on weekends? What is he studying? encourager - what is FS? I am still getting acquainted with these abbreviations LOL
