Congrats Kim, Cold Spring? On Long Island?

My son is stationed in NY until the end of the year (shore duty).  He is headed to a ship in San Diego.

Yesterday he re-enlisted for 6 more years.  The entire division had a ceremony in Cold Springs, NY.  They all went to lunch afterwards in uniform.  A nice man in the restaurant paid the entire bill.  What a nice thing to do!

Congrats encourager.  I'm sure you are very proud and he is very happy to have moved up the chain.  Congrats to all.  Can't wait for the Truman to get home.  That extra month sure seems like years.

My sons Frocking ceremony happened too. He's an AZ2 now. So proud of him and all those serving. God bless.

Congratulations to all NY sailors who advanced.  Post the pictures of the frocking ceremony if you can.

It looks like my sailor (and family) are heading to San Diego this fall.  They wanted Japan, so I guess it is closer.  My grandson will be 2 on December 31.  I guess we will be skyping.

Hard to believe it's been 3 yrs today my son left for boot camp..I'm so proud of him. He has worked so hard and is now an E-5 :). He is in Pearl Harbor until Christmas then off to Virginia!  He wanted San Diego but this Momma is happy for East coast. Haven't seen him in over a year now..
