I will bring boxes to pack - if you have a things already to go and didnt know where to send them ---
Here's the address to send your donation. They must be received by Oct 28 since the packing will be on November 2nd.
National Association of Naval Veterans Port 5,
69 Brewster St, Bridgeport, Ct 06605.
rombko, please let me know if there are any local gatherings for us where we can meet and get to know each other (and more about the what our son's are into). Thanks....
Is the Dennys by the Lowes and the car dealerships??
I have been thinking about our get together and not many places can accommodate 20 guests. I know Denneys could. Does this sound ok? Or there is a really big Chinese place that could...I can think of a couple more places if these are not favorable to all :)
Anyone in Western New York? (more west of Syracuse and Rochester)... More like the Niagara Falls/Buffalo area?
Syracuse/auburn is actually three hours from me. I am going to keep an eye on meet-ups though. I am located near Hornell, NY.
hi Blstz882-nice you got your box-form letter with PIR info comes next!
My Sailor is in Jacksonville Fl so it wasnt him...
Getting together on Sunday Oct 20th in Auburn if you are interested? Still working on the actual place to meet...
My son left for boot camp from Syracuse last Thursday. Just received my KIB, and it had three other names that traveled with him to boot camp. Anybody else's child fly out that day?
Thank you all so much for wanting to meet!
AMBurg hoping there will be close to 20 of us so not sure if that limits our choices??
