Good morning all, So we are meeting in Auburn on 10/20? Sounds good. I'm in Auburn so there are a lot of nice places we can meet. There is a Chilis across from the Fingerlakes Mall...
good job MagoostersMom!! Its tough but try and do that every time-think happy thoughts...or remember the times that he drove you nuts! That sometimes worked for me...
so the rain cleared out about 4pm but the wind started up again...no power out or bad tree damage so thats a bonus!
Hi Sunshinefam. I'm glad you received your call! :) It was hard for me to hold it together while I was talking to my son when he called last Saturday, but somehow did! and cried like a baby after we hung up!
Great! Yup Destiny is the Carousel Mall...
so looking like Auburn will be it-so now need help-I know fingerlakes mall and thats about it...
Does anyone have a good spot for us??
The 20th sounds good. Auburn for me. Is Destiny in Syracuse?
It actually looks like it's everywhere but WNY. We have a thunderstorm warning.
western NY mommas hope you all stay safe-the tornado watch was just confirmed
I have been off line for moment. I was going crazy at first with worrying about my son because a lot of the other moms in ship 03 div 430 got phone call. My son finally called last wed. I was happy. I cried tires of joy when I got off the phone. He said he is doing good.
Oh I still remember the day my son left, almost three years ago now. His recruiter picked him up at our home, don't know if that is unusual or not, but that is the way they did it here, 10 days before Christmas. His dad and I just stood here and cried, but he was so excited and ready to go. That made it easier.
you can do this Beth...have to look at it as a short 56 days...and its less than that already!!! you will have good days and bad days...we all do no matter where we are on this Navy journey!!
