Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Love it! I'm in Oswego so I am open to anywhere! The concerts at the Fair are just being announced and Toby Keith is there this year-and Alan Jackson will be at Turning Stone the week after the Fair closes.
But I love all the festivals-the boat show in Clayton-a wine trip-Casino Niagara...

Happy Mother's Day!
I know it is a long way off but would love to know if anyone does a New York State Fair meet and greet? Or anyone planning a Harborfest trip? Or is there a local festival in your area that would make a great road trip?

Canandaigua here! My son is with a Squadron in Atsugi.
I think spring is finally showing itself. This cooler weather certainly gives the bulb flowers a longer and nicer showing than melting in the 80s :)

jam's mom-wow 2 Sailors-thank you! My Sailor is good-he will be completing NACCS this week and starting his A school for AWV in the next few weeks in P'cola. He is my only child so it has been an adjustment for sure.

He was at RTC when it was snowing so he didn't mind that part-but complained already about it being humid there and running outside!
The hubs mowed the lawn already! Can't wait to see 70 on the thermometer! Sick of 42 degrees

Hello spomms. Your sailor got to go somewhere warm for school! My brother was stuck in Great Lakes still for his, luckily his A-school was pretty short as he is DC.
This week is supposed to be gorgeous mid 70s here and mostly sunny. I love seeing the trees budding. :)
