Hi everyone its been a while since I've been on. Just an update our son who is station in Hawaii on the USS Cheyenne and out on deployment called us to inform us that he received his new orders. This September he will be station in ITALY. We are so happy for him. He is so happy to get this. We will miss him so but its a great excuse to take a trip out there :)

Hey Sue: all I can say is read read read on navy moms boot camp site. I think I understood more of what my son would go through before he left then he did. I found and still find this group to be a bunch of amazing moms. My son is in his third year now and is in Norfolk Va his wife is also Navy and is 21/2 years in. They have a beautiful baby girl just 3 months, so life is very busy for them
