Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Jam's mom: my future daughter-in-law is an aerographers mate in Norfolk Va. My son is also stationed in Va as an aviation calabration tech. They are expecting a baby in October.

Hi 4my corpsman .... Capo or Cappodechino is a small clinic just outside of Naples . He willbe there 3 yrs ... Lots of time to visit and relive being a kid in Italy . My Dad had a business there so I got to spend 6 wks with him every summer till I was 16
We are headed to Logan soon , please
Make sure he hasn't forgotten anything :)

All I can say is don't wish those months away . They creep up on your and befor you know it your at MEPS ,standing by the elevator crying 'see you later ' to your future sailor ....
I have 3 sons and a daughter . ,who is. Twin with our youngest sailor . He leaves for his first duty in Italy tomorrow as a corpsman he is 19 next week . Our eldest son is 24 and in GL as I type looking forward to his graduation march then onto SWCC training there too , and my 'middle 'one moved from CA back to Hawaii last week so it's a tough time in this house , which I'm trying to sell . !!! Oh to be going back to Buffalo area :)

I am so glad my son showed me this website.  So far all the information has been very helpful.  I am so glad I am able to find out all this information before he leaves!  Everyone's support is great! I am looking forward to having my support system with you all!

I am still in Boston and we are behind (thank goodness too ) last year about 71 "by now and so far about 8 "tops . So I am loving it . Thought my Hn would have to spend his last Boston leave shoveling but no :)

Good morning, My son Leaves Marth 5th for bootcamp..We are on long island..I am so excited for him!!
