Hi Momack!  My Sailor left about 14 months ago and what a success story he is.  These ladies really helped me when I was going absolutely berserk with no letter about three weeks later.  I sat on my stoop, tried to call the Post Office and was crying.  I was comforted by these really great Navy MOMs.  Don't lose heart, the letter will come.  Just keep posting.

Thank you ChristineLI,NY and spomss. This week us rough. Can't wait for my letter and address. I know he is doing what he always wanted to do. I'm sure the change in him will be incredible. PIR can't come soon enough!! So happy to have fellow Navy Moms to reach out to.

Welcome Momack.  My sailor left for BC exactly 1 year ago. It definitely gets easier and less worrisome. The change in him is remarkable and he's never had even one complaint. Just be thankful and proud. We're planning a trip out west where he's stationed for this summer.  PIR will be here before you know it!

Hello NY Moms - my son left for BC in GL yesterday 4/14/15. Still coming to grips with my emotions. He will be doing MM A school in HL and then to sub school (at least that is what we know so far). I'm in the 5 boroughs area. God Bless our recruits and sailors .
