LOL. This is cool. I have been trying to reach out to anyone close to home. Hi sboli1!
Angie, nice to meet you. My sailor is heading home in less then two weeks. He is graduating A school and visiting us before he is off to VA.
Hello to all. I'm new to the site. Is there anyone here that's from Long Island? My son leaves for bootcamp in September and I'm having a really hard time. Just wanted to vent...LOL
NitaSewBee- I had my tonsils out when I was 19! It was nice not to have sore throat after sore throat. Hope they schedule him soon:)
Humor is good.
Besides all this going on, went to my husbands Aunt Dorothy's funeral yesterday. She was 88 and so sweet. We will miss her.
I believe besides being a little round candy coated choc. .. I am sorry, I needed to say something funny. Anyway, MM I believe would be Machinist Mate perhaps?
Tomorrow my 15yr old is going to see the ENT. The poor kid has had sore throats and strep throats for the past 6yrs. he has missed so much school this year alone. Being in 9th grade, this is not a good thing. So we are going to see when we can get his tonsils taken out. ASAP Hopefully sometime this week would be nice. wish us luck. the kid is miserable.
Hi everyone. New to this site. This will be the third year in the Navy for my son. He is in Japan. Going out today to help with the relief effort and doesn't know when he'll be in touch again.
