For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi all!
New here!! Hubby and I have lived in Norfolk for a while but I haven't been on N4M in years. I made great friend on here when I was and would love to meet some other girls in the area who's hubby's are also stationed here. :)
We are aviation and stationed at a helicopter squadron. Anyone else?

My son is in the process of getting married. He is trying to figure out housing for couples and what the Navy needs to recognize the marriage. Do you have any info. His fiance is eager to move to Norfolk. She can be pretty shy, but she is very sweet and has a 1 1/2 year old little girl. My son is on the USS Barry - but it is being upgraded so he probably won't be deployed (I'm guessing) until they are done. Not sure how long that will be. You mentioned where you are stationed. I don't know how the base is set up. Do they group the married folks by their jobs or can they get housing anywhere on base?

Hi I just moved here with my hubby and 2 daughters in Dec. my daughters are 3 and 8 months. This is my 1st pcs and his 3rd. He also lived here in Norfolk with his first wife the last time he was stationed here and has friends he made while here last time. I'm just looking for girlfriends to talk to and hang and drink some wine. And great if you have kids too :)
