OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I guess Matt is trying to line up housing before he gets back to Norfolk. I don't know how he can do anything from the ship, but I guess his buddies are helping him. He said something about getting a place with another Sailor and splitting the rent. He said they have barricks on base and he'll have a car....I hate to see him pay rent when he could live in the barricks.....uggg. Oh, well, he's a big baby boy now.....lol, lol
Oh yeah its 90 here today!!!!! I hope this doesn't mean summer is starting 2 months early this year.

Geeezzzz, JM: Has your heart beat settled down yet????? Well, I'm glad he didn't brake any bones. Tell him not all fractures can be seen with an X-ray. I had a bone fracture and it took a bone scan to find it. He won't have to work for a while, will he???
