B-Ready, it's so sad to read your description of the barracks there. It makes me want to move up there and spend my time comforting them all. And Tonya M, I couldn't agree with you more!

B-Ready, I am praying with you, for him, his family and friends during this most difficult time. It breaks my heart to think that our young Sailors may feel that this is their only option. I wish we could help them understand that this is not the end of the world and that they can overcome! Praying for ALL who are struggling today...that they can know that they are loved and cared for...that they are important and they matter...and that everything will be alright, if they just keep pushing through.  God Bless!

Hi all...been out of the loop for a little while and I've been reading to catch up. Oh, B-Ready, I'm so sorry to hear that Steven is struggling again. Please know that he has never left my prayers. I hope today finds him and you doing better. Your strength amazes me. I'm sure he has a good bit of it deep down inside...he will find it...that is my prayer. ((hugs))

B-Ready,

Text Steven so he knows we are covering him (and you guys) with prayers.  Fell asleep late this morning on my knees and face on the ground in deep prayer to God to give Steven hope for a happy future just as I would with my own children.  All of them ARE our children.   Lord hear our prayers: 4:30 am and I can't come up with words for my feelings so help me pray as I again come to you with concern for a struggling soldier. They put their lives on the front to protect us so we continue having a long future, but they struggle to see theirs next week.  Put in Steven's path those who will speak into his life words of wisdom, hope, and peace so he can make decisions that glorify You.  Amen

Sleep well, Steven.  We love you yet don't really know you.  That is the love of God we send to you daily.

B-Ready - So sorry to read that Steven is struggling. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for you and your husband. You all continue to be in our hearts and prayers.

B-Ready,

Keep posting.  The more posts, the plethora of prayers going your way.

I am sure the doctors are working well with him.  I do know tha "100% pure, therapeutic-grade peppermint" essential oil kills or drives away stuff that doesn't belong.  Overnight it got ride of 90% of my squash bugs that coated all the leaves of my plants.  It MUST be diluted due to his rash and it may NOT contain pesticides from the plants and synthetics to extract the oil.  Always have a conversation with his doctors.  Many are now understanding the value these oils have for health.  Exekiel 47:12- 17 or 18.  There is ONLY ONE company I trust for putting these oils on and in my body or my pets and family.  PM privately if you want more information.

Lord,  be with Steven day and night as he deals with the rash and itching that makes life difficult.  When You help him overcome this, may he have a renewed trust in You and a spirit of serving to help other sailors with their issues.  Amen

When my son was in BC I found a list of recruits that did not receive mail from home,  The site had the name of the recruit, his address and his PIR date so that you would know that what you were sending they would get before graduation.  I even got letters back thanking me for my support.  I believe they may also have access to other branches as well - but I sent mine to the Navy BC where my son was - because from hearing of his experiences helped me in finding what to say.  The names come from someone who sees who is not getting mail in their unit as well when I got a name from my son I could add the sailors info to the website.  Send a note to "callsforrecruits" <callsforrecruits@yahoo.com>; and the Navy Dad that runs this group can lead you to BC support. This person also helps provide calling cards to all military branch personnel in BC (and some overseas) that don't have a calling card to call home when he/she has a chance (via donation).  Even when the donation is small I was surprised to see the number of calling cards given out and what great joy it provided them.  My son had a card but many of his friends didn't and it was an easy way for me to get the card codes to him and he could pass them out to his fellow recruits.  But as I mentioned this Navy Dad also works the list of sailors without support in BC.

Trevors mom thanks for the link to adopt a sailor.  I'll look into it.
