OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I am actively involved with the Heads At Ease organization. We sew pillowcases for the troops in all branches of the military and the Coast Guard. You can find their group right here on N4M.

The Support Our Troops Picture Project is is a collection of  pictures I will be sending with my Heads At Ease pillowcases to our troops.
If you have a photo you would like to share, you can e-mail it to me at
smile4soldiers@gmail.com and I will have it ready to send with future
pillowcases.
You can get ideas by watching this Youtube video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXMcn07lOMM

I'm looking for new pics all the time, as I will be sending pillowcases on a regular basis.
Be creative! You can use cardboard signs, dry erase boards, poster board, or print them on your computer.
I'd love to see some pictures of our firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, construction workers, schools, scout groups, pets, etc.
****NOTE****
Signs and banners must be large enough to read on a 4x6 picture. Far away pictures with
small signs are impossible to ready. The bigger the sign, the better.

Some of these will be sent with pillowcases to wounded soldiers. I'd like to
have some pictures with signs that read "Thank you for your sacrifice"
or something like that.

If you want me to send you a PDF file with some signs, contact me and I will e-mail them to you. You can print
them out on 11x17 paper.
