FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Good morning Good Friday/Happy Easter/ Happy Passover/ Happy Spring. Whatever you celebrate be Happy!!!  I am, my Chrissy is on her way home.( I agree with Monica) home as in home from the sea. Then she will get leave to come to California in May.

Pay... congrats to Rachael! That's so exciting! I planned a wedding in 6Chicago weeks and ut was way less stressful than my sister's year long engagement.
I'm up for next Saturday too... I'm going to be a grandma again on the 10th so I will have pics.

Yes, the wedding is June 24th.  She wants her brother at her wedding and he will  be finishing up with school and transferring to a new baseabout that time.  So we figure we need to catch him inbetween the two (I just have a mothers hunch that he may be going overseas on this next assignment).  Yes, it's a formal evening wedding.  Small by my families standards, 125 guest and that meant I had to cut alot off my side. 

Yes, I will pull it off, may pull my hair and b--ch a bit, but it will all come. together.
